30-Day Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 26, 2026

At Utility Providing, we are committed to providing dependable customer assistance and convenient natural gas and electricity service arrangements. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to maintain transparency in our payment and refund procedures.

We offer a 30-Day Refund Policy for eligible payments made to Utility Providing. Customers may submit a refund request within 30 days of the original payment date, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Refund Eligibility

Customers may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Provided: A payment was made for a service that has not yet been provided or completed.
  • Duplicate Payment: A customer was charged more than once for the same transaction.
  • Incorrect Charges: An incorrect amount was charged due to a billing or processing error.
  • Service Cancellation: A customer requests cancellation before the requested service has been completed.
  • Unauthorized Charges: A customer reports a transaction that was not properly authorized, subject to verification and applicable law.
  • Payment Processing Errors: A technical or administrative error resulted in an incorrect transaction.

Refund requests must generally be submitted within 30 calendar days of the original payment date to qualify under this policy.

2. Non-Refundable Services and Charges

Certain payments may not qualify for refunds, including:

  • Services that have already been fully completed and delivered.
  • Natural gas or electricity usage charges.
  • Utility provider deposits or connection fees already paid to a third-party provider, unless refundable under that provider’s policies.
  • Third-party processing or administrative charges that are non-refundable and were properly disclosed.
  • Services already performed with the customer’s authorization.
  • Charges associated with completed utility service arrangements.

These limitations do not override any refund rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

3. How to Request a Refund

Customers who wish to request a refund must contact Utility Providing within 30 days of the original payment date.

Refund requests can be submitted through the following contact methods:

Phone: +1 (888) 270-0209

Email: contact@utilityproviding.com

When submitting a refund request, please provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address or phone number associated with the transaction
  • Utility service address
  • Payment date
  • Payment amount
  • Transaction reference number, if available
  • Reason for requesting the refund

Our customer support team may request additional information to verify the transaction and determine refund eligibility.

For security reasons, customers should not send full payment card numbers, passwords, or Social Security numbers by email.

4. Refund Review Process

Once a refund request has been received, our team will review the transaction and determine whether it meets the eligibility requirements.

Refund requests will normally be reviewed within 5 business days of receiving the necessary information.

During the review process, we may:

  • Verify payment and transaction records.
  • Review the status of the requested service.
  • Confirm whether the service has already been completed.
  • Investigate billing or payment processing errors.
  • Request additional supporting information when reasonably necessary.

Customers will be informed of the outcome of their refund request using the contact details provided.

5. Refund Processing Time

If a refund request is approved, Utility Providing will generally initiate the refund to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

Depending on the payment method and financial institution, additional time may be required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account.

Refund processing times may vary based on:

  • Bank processing procedures
  • Credit or debit card issuer policies
  • Payment processor requirements
  • Weekends and public holidays
  • Additional transaction verification requirements

Utility Providing is not responsible for processing delays caused solely by independent financial institutions or payment providers.

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method used for the transaction.

For example:

  • Credit card payments will generally be refunded to the original credit card.
  • Debit card payments will generally be refunded to the original debit card.
  • Other payment methods will be refunded using an appropriate method permitted by the payment processor and applicable law.

Refunds will not ordinarily be issued to unrelated third-party accounts or payment methods.

7. Cancellation of Service Requests

Customers may contact Utility Providing to request cancellation of a pending service arrangement.

If a cancellation request is received before the service has been performed, the customer may qualify for a full or partial refund of eligible fees.

If the requested service has already been completed, associated service fees may be non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation requests involving third-party utility providers may also be subject to the policies and procedures of those providers.

8. Third-Party Utility Charges

Utility Providing operates as an independent utility assistance company and does not directly supply natural gas or electricity.

Charges imposed by utility providers may include:

  • Security deposits
  • Connection fees
  • Reconnection fees
  • Service activation charges
  • Outstanding utility balances
  • Monthly gas or electricity usage charges

Refunds of amounts collected directly by utility providers are governed by the relevant provider’s policies and applicable law.

Where Utility Providing collects or processes payments on behalf of a third party, the applicable payment and refund arrangements will be explained to the customer.

9. Disputed or Unauthorized Transactions

Customers who believe a payment was processed incorrectly or without authorization should contact Utility Providing promptly.

Our support team will review the reported transaction and assist with resolving any verified processing errors.

Customers also retain any applicable rights to dispute transactions directly with their bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits legally protected billing dispute or chargeback rights.

10. Refund Request Limitations

Utility Providing reserves the right to review and deny refund requests that do not meet the eligibility requirements of this policy.

A request may be denied when:

  • The request falls outside the 30-day refund period and no additional refund right applies.
  • The requested service has already been completed.
  • The charge was properly authorized and the agreed service was delivered.
  • The payment relates to a non-refundable third-party charge that was properly disclosed.
  • The information provided is materially inaccurate or fraudulent.

Any denial will remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other legally required remedies.

11. Changes to This Refund Policy

Utility Providing may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, payment procedures, business operations, or legal requirements.

Any updated policy will be published on our website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not remove rights that customers have already obtained under applicable law.
